Last updated: 2026-03-27

This Privacy Policy describes how Bobbie Goods Coloring ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Bobbie Goods Coloring ("the App") collects the following types of information to provide and improve your experience:

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as Advertising ID on iOS and Android), language, country/locale, and network status.
  • Usage Data: App interactions including pages opened, categories selected, drawing activity (e.g., first stroke, drawing engagement time, page completions), artwork saves, and session information.
  • Purchase Information: An anonymous app user ID (UUID) is generated and stored locally to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements through our payment provider.
  • Gallery Interactions: When you interact with the Community Gallery, your anonymous user ID and activity (such as liking photos) are sent to our servers.
  • Advertising Data: Ad impressions, ad interactions, and advertising identifiers used to serve and measure the performance of advertisements.
  • Locally Stored Data: Your saved artworks, drawing drafts (including brush type, size, color, and stroke paths), and app preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and the device file system.

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address. The App does not require account creation or sign-in.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • App Functionality: To save your artwork, restore drafts, manage your purchases and subscriptions, and provide access to premium content.
  • Analytics and Improvement: To understand how users interact with the App, identify popular features, and improve the overall user experience.
  • Advertising: To display advertisements (banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app open ads) to non-premium users. Rewarded ads allow users to unlock additional coloring pages.
  • Ad Measurement and Attribution: To measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns through services such as Facebook SDK, TikTok Ads Events, and SKAdNetwork.
  • Crash Reporting: To identify and fix bugs, crashes, and technical issues using Firebase Crashlytics and Expo Insights.
  • Purchase Management: To verify subscription status, restore purchases, and manage entitlements through RevenueCat.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob — Used to display banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app open advertisements.
  • Firebase Analytics — Used to collect usage data and app interaction events.
  • Firebase Crashlytics — Used to collect crash reports and diagnostic data.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — Configured for push notification capability.
  • Firebase Remote Config — Used to manage app configuration remotely.
  • RevenueCat — Used to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements.
  • Facebook SDK — Used for ad attribution, measurement, and app event logging.
  • TikTok Ads Events — Used for ad attribution and campaign measurement.
  • Microsoft Clarity — Used for session analytics and user behavior insights (when enabled).
  • Expo — Used as the development framework, including Expo Insights for analytics.
  • Apple Services — Used for App Tracking Transparency, StoreKit, and SKAdNetwork attribution.
  • Google Play Services — Used for app distribution and advertising services on Android.

Advertising

The App displays advertisements to users who have not purchased a premium subscription or lifetime unlock. The following ad formats are used:

  • Banner Ads: Small ads displayed within the App interface.
  • Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown at natural transition points (limited to a maximum of 2 per day with a 2-minute cooldown between ads).
  • Rewarded Ads: Optional video ads that users can choose to watch in exchange for unlocking premium coloring pages.
  • App Open Ads: Ads displayed when the App is opened or returned to from the background.

On iOS, the App requests your permission through the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before collecting your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising. You may decline this request, in which case ads served may be less relevant to you. On Android, the App uses the Google Advertising ID for ad purposes.

Premium users (subscribers or lifetime purchasers) do not see advertisements.

Photos and Media Library Access

The App requests access to your device's photo library for the following purposes:

  • Save Artwork: To save your finished coloring pages as PNG images to your device's photo library.
  • Share Artwork: To enable sharing your artwork through the device's native sharing functionality or email.

The App does not access, scan, upload, or collect your existing photos. Photo library permission is used solely to save and share artwork you create within the App.

Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

  • Your artworks, drafts, and app preferences are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
  • Purchase information is securely managed through RevenueCat and the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  • Gallery interactions are transmitted securely to our servers.
  • Analytics and crash data are transmitted securely to our third-party service providers.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
